1. Two Way Street.
Two Way Street is about a guy that is a trouble maker and doesn't really know what to do with his life. Then there's this girl that pops up and she's very sweet and pretty and they end up liking each other. They end up dating, but the guy named Jordan ends up breaking up with her because of some girl he met online. Jordan realized he made a mistake and fell more in love with Courtney (the girl) than he ever has before. He couldn't lose her, so he tries to get her back. On a 1-10 scale I would say it would break my scale because I couldn't put the book down, I couldn't stop reading, and right when I thought I was going to sell it to make money, I decided not to because it was to good of a book. I would recommend this book because even though it seems all about love, it has action and mystery in it which makes it nice for other readers.
2. Unbroken.
Unbroken is about a guy named Louie who joined the military. Eventually the plane he is on crashes and goes under water. All of his team mates that were fighting with him at the time passed away, with only two others surviving. Luckily there were two raft boats to stay in. One of the team-mates was on sea for fifteen days then Louie and his other team mate made it to 47. A storm came during day 15 and the team mates lost their second raft. They tried eating birds, but ended up puking. So they used the birds as fish bate and ate the fish raw. They also caught a shark and ate that shark. On day 47, they were rescued by the Japanese. There the two guy got sent to a concentration camp and got beaten badly and worked from dusk to dawn. They barley got any food and shared rooms with a bunch of other men. Then all the members of the camp, including them, got sent to a different camp. There they were treated worse. When a guy passed out and died, people just walked away like it was casual. Eventually Louie got home and returned to Japan for a marathon at around 80 year old. Yes, this is a true story. I would give this book about a six. The movie was a lot better. I wouldn't recommend people to read it because it was confusing and I didn't really know what was going on.
3. A Child Called it.
A child called it is about a child being abused by his drunk mother. He gets thrown down the stairs, his mother tries to drown him, and a lot of other things happen. This book really opened my eyes because it made me realize that kids out there young and older are getting abused. Even though I may not of put much information down, I did read this book about four years ago, but this book is definitely a ten. I would recommend it even though it's sad. You're going to see sad things in life and to see this book written was a real eye opener. It made me see that no child should get hurt like that. If somebody tells you their getting hurt at home, you need to tell someone before it's too late. The book is a true story, but the kid is still alive. In fact, he made the book.
